Based on the biblical story of King Solomon with a modern comedic twist, 700 Wives features a hilarious harem of favorites, including comic Sheba Mason (Jackie Mason's daughter) and Ann Marie Olson. David R. Gordon plays Solomon whose accomplishments are derailed when the beautiful Queen of Sheba shows up in Jerusalem, disrupting harem life among the wives and shattering the misbegotten dreams of one very perplexed transvestwife wannabe (Brian Bloomer). Written by the composer-lyricist of The Jackie Mason Musical (Ginger Reiter), 700 Wives comes to the Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale.
